Life

Food is the easiest way back home.

I moved to the US in 2021. I love almost every Chinese dish, but fried rice is the one I never get tired of. Some foods make San Diego feel close to Shanghai for a minute.

Honor of Kings is for weekends.

These days it's mostly Honor of Kings on my iPad with friends: low stakes, familiar, and easy to come back to after a long week.

Swimming came first.

Swimming was the sport that came before badminton, and it is still the one that feels the quietest. Freestyle and breaststroke have stayed with me through school, practice, and busier weeks.

Music moves slower.

Piano and four years of school choir have been part of my week for a long time. A few pieces, like Kikujiro and Childhood Memories, keep coming back.

Physics has always been nearby.

Physics has been around my family for a long time. I am grateful for that influence, even when my own interests take it in different directions.

Weekend rhythm

Practice, food, games, reset.

Most weeks are pretty ordinary: school, practice, stringing, weekend work, and a few quiet things that make everything feel normal again.

What I keep from home

Small routines are what stay.

For me, home is usually food, language, music, and the places I keep noticing with a camera.

Long term

I think about the future, but I do not have one exact plan. I want to build enough skill and stability to take care of my family, and to help people who need support even if they are not already close to me.
