Team prototype

A browser-plugin prototype designed to check health claims against medical sources and explain its confidence in each result.

I led our five-person team and worked on claim checking, the interface, demo, and website.

Engineering proposal

A proposal for a solar-panel cleaning robot that plans its route, senses its surroundings, switches between dry and water cleaning, and coordinates with other robots.

I lead the four-person team writing the proposal.

Mindful Moves

We helped deliver chess sets and lessons about integrity to 30+ Little Free Libraries and 10 public libraries. We made nine instructional videos with 150+ views and wrote a children's book; 80 copies went to local libraries. U.S. Representatives Scott Peters and Mike Levin recognized the project in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

STEM & Photography Club

Physics through a camera.

I started the club with three members; it grew to 26. I organized six workshops and photo-sharing sessions on optics, motion, symmetry, and perspective. I also helped with ten AAPT Physics Photo Contest submissions. One member's photo reached the Top 100 worldwide.

I edit and publish athlete features and co-founded our San Diego chapter. I also help organize events for children with special needs, with 20+ attendees so far.

For a Schoolhouse discussion on AI and employment, I wrote a brief using reports from the ILO, IMF, and OECD.

Up to eight tables at a time.

On busy shifts, I look after up to 24 guests at once and roughly 100 over the shift. I keep order errors near zero and average about 22% in tips.
